I used to spin (audio) for a mobile company, n we got crew settin up 2x 50" plasma in a gig..used for presentation/slideshow pix/ n just video MTV background during dance time.

what displays u guys bringin to a vsl gig? rear projection? hangin proj? plasma? another cam for crowd shot? video switcher?

I use a rear video projector on a 8'x8' screen. Setup time is less than ten minutes

I usually bring 2 120" front / rear projection screens with NEC NP-40 or NP-60 projectors. Plus a 26" LCD that hangs over my head on a truss.

I bring 200 19" TV's to every gig.

for big setups I have 2 6x8 screens and 1 9x12 screen...i shoot front or rear depending on the setup...and for projector, nothing lower than 3000 Lumens.

Da-Lite fastfold. Another alternative is the Draper Cinefold.

you DJ so bad you distract people with TV shows during your gig so they don't pay attention to you DJing.

i do the same, and I put everyone on a different channel.

I DJ only at an OCD support group.
