TTM57 SL and Videos

Hello,
I'm a torq user... hehehe, and I might join you here on the dark side.
I've been looking to starting to do video mixing. I'm a very visual person and I've thought it to be cool.
I also need a new mixer, so i've decided why not put two and two together and get the ttm57sl with serato and the video plug-in.
I have a couple of questions first though, and some of these may come from me not having used the video component of SSL yet.
How do you setup your video libraries? do you buy your own Video tracks? i saw a thread about places that sold these. However, they don't have much if any of the music I play. Is there a work around?
Can I download loops and use those on top of whatever songs I'm playing or is the video application exclusive to a single digital file with both music and video running off at the same time.
Is there a way of making your own videos? I guess premixing a track on one side with loops on the other to make a video, record that video and then play it live??
Also, how do you usually record your video mixes?
Will there be a video plug in available for other SSL users that don't have the TTM 57 SL, I saw a video today of a show and the Serato rep said that for now its only avaialable for the TTM 57 SL, so he's not ruling out the possiblity of there being a future release for the video plug in for other Serato users.
This latest question is the one I'm the most interested because I would find it most convenient to have a serato interface and another mixer whether it be a ttm56 or a nuo5 or something like that. That way I could take my serato interface around instead of the whole mixer.
Thanks in advance, I know this is long to read, but I need to research before I lay down $1,400 good ones :)

I organize videos in itunes just like mp3s, playlists and all.
I get videos on DVD via Promo Only, Music Video DVD's, Screen Play, etc..PO and SP have a lot of different genres of music you can choose from.
If you dont have a video for a particular track you can throw and video loop over it.
You can use Final Cut Pro or a program similar to make your own video edits.
You can record video mixes on Final Cut Pro or Imovie for mac. You also need a piece of hardware that convert video signal. Something like this. www.mwave.com
They havent made VSL compatible with any other mixers and in my opinion they wont.
Hope this helps.
Oh yeah, you can get 57's for about 1100 nowadays.

There was a thread on here that I saw people comparing prices. I personally bought mine for $1300 before I found out I could get for cheaper. Look around for the thread.
