too bad there isn't a text plug-in.

I use the crap of the text plug-in for virtual dj.
It has it where you can save 10 pre-set text messages with different fonts, color, position, flashing, scrolling, etc.

I would have drink specials, birthdays, making fun of staff at club, my name & info, etc... works great!!

Hopefully they will incorporate some abilities to do that with VSL!!!

i personally don't like to make it ALL ABOUT ME. lots of video guys like to splash their name on the screen as often as possible. i'm not one of them. while you might think it's good promotion for yourself, majority of the people don't care and some of them might even think it's cheesy.

i'd have to agree. at least the way most of them are doing it.

everything in moderation... But getting the manager on board with the "ABILITY" to put up drink specials on the fly.. well, that right there is a selling point to get your ass in the door. Instead of making movies beforehand to attach to a tune.

I'd like to be able throw my logo in the bottom corner of the screen from time to time. Some sort of Logo Plugin.

Also the ability to throw up a flyer or graphic is another strong point. Owners like it. Promoters like it.

Yeah one time i put up "Hey Stanley i need another drink lol" a couple minutes later he came up with some beers hahaha.
