VIDEO-SL Version 1.0.1 CPU BETTER

DJ James 2:50 PM - 6 March, 2008
I Ran 1.0.1 last night for just a little over an hour cpu still hitting 100% but i dont think that true because i found a 10 degree drop in CPU Temp
Most of the time With Other Releases ran @ 45 degree now it has dropped to 34
and video transitions much smoother i really dont think the cpu is really running at 100% at all time

Well Thats better
When will we see autogain fix
boabmatic 3:00 PM - 6 March, 2008
think the autogain fix is to be in SSL 1.8.1 rather than a VSL release.
DJ James 3:03 PM - 6 March, 2008
Yes it will be but maybe they should have just waited and realeased 1.8.1 and new Video realease at the same time
D-Twizzle 3:32 PM - 6 March, 2008
The 1.0.1 release was the same as the beta that was out. I don't think anything was changed at all.
DJ James 3:33 PM - 6 March, 2008
Yes some stuff has changed on the cpu side yes runs much better
skinnyguy 8:03 PM - 6 March, 2008
doesn't run much better for me. only thing noticeable was i disabled v-sync and cpu drops to about 80% with nothing loaded. once i load something, i'm back to 100%.

but i didn't get any vid dropout on either deck....

will try again later tonight to see if it was just random luck.

Is anybody running this 1.0.1 on a mac? i'd like to know if it makes a difference.
DJ Mad Matt 10:07 PM - 6 March, 2008
Yeah ... Its the same build number Twizz
D-Twizzle 10:45 PM - 6 March, 2008
then that means i'm running it on a mac. works fine.
DJ Mad Matt 11:05 PM - 6 March, 2008
Yeah that version made my Preview Windows finally start working on a PC.
Dj_KaGeN 12:13 AM - 7 March, 2008
tell the rest of the story....... or are you already posting in the "IT RUNS FLAWLESSLY" thread?
DJ Mad Matt 12:30 AM - 7 March, 2008
I have some stuff posted in a couple different threads. Mine has never crashed or locked up. And playback is really smooth now after the Core 2 Quad. The only issue I have is that 1 second video output stutter when loading the next track.

However, I can live with that for now. We don't have people anylizing the video show. They just want to dance and get their next drink as fast as possible. I mean If i want to, I can switch over to GeForce Ambients with my Edirol V-4 before loading a track and you would never know.

I think the next beta is gonna fix that though. Well .. At least I hope and i also for see CPU Usage dropping a ton.
