i ripped some vids in mp4 format. got vsl to work but the video that came out of my projector was not large, it was small??why??

What are your settings... video settings when converting.

My settings are h.264 800x640 I am using imtoo meg for converting the vids. I think the problem is the laptop to projector hook up. Even without video showing the screen looks small, the computer icons from the desktop is there but everything looks small is there a special setting for the laptop.

did you change the video settings on your external display to the lowest setting like 480 x ???

um...are you fullscreening the output of VSL?

ok got it to show correct. i needed to adjust the resolution on the second output from the laptop and make some adjustments to the projector. vsl shows flawless and worked smoothly. Now i have to finish ripping 200 video collection.
