Change Label Description on Assigned 57 buttons

I looked but can't find this discussed before. When I assign loop toggle and loop trigger to the buttons, the label just says loop for both. Is there a way to modify the text description displayed? -Thanks

Just wanted a way to identify what button was toggle and trigger. Not a big deal. Thanks

I understand your issue I was just wondering if there was a way to change them what would you go for?

I would have on/off and engage. Whats interesting is when you map loop trigger, it jumps to the start of the loop and engages it but when you hit it again it just turns the loop off. When I map the same function to an external midi controller it behaves differently. I map loop trigger and it engages the loop and jumps to the beginning but hitting it again only brings it back to the loop start point with it still engaged (like a cue point but never shuts off the loop). This is what I would expect the 57 mapping to do but it does not.. Go figure? Not a big deal. I do think we should be able to personally label the function labels on the 57 but looks like thats not an easy feature to implement.

Problem with on/off and engage is they don't mention loop. Whilst it's not likely that Serato will add customisable labels anytime soon, it's possible they will change the defaults if we come up with something better.

I agree with Money and Im not too bright on the whole flex fx thing. Does anyone know of a better(faster) way to turn off an effect quickly without having to push three buttons to get back to group 1, I currently leave the echo on master and just hit left or right channel to engage but then have to un-engage and hit group and push 1 to get back to group 1.

check out nik39s method for trigering the echo, i use it all the time now and you only need to press 1 button and j1/j2 to get it bpm matched, nice and easy !

DJ Brady: I like the idea of triggering the loop once in the loop would cue back to the beginning of the loop, not turn it off.
