1st big gig

Had my first "big" gig yesterday (actually it was more of an audition) at a huge lounge in nyc. SSL worked solid as a rock and I got the residency!

Had one issue right in the beginning though- the left turntable was giving me a straight horizontal flat line. Figured out it was the connection btwn the cartridge and the tonearm- cleaned out the dust and was good to go. Just thought id give a heads up to everyone out there about that.

Also after I was done, ssl wouldnt quit- i had to end task- thinking mabye i should have quit b4 i pulled out the usb cable... any thoughts?

i think the mods should include the various problematic scope views in the manual for version 1.5. this would be nice to just keep a copy of the manual saved on your hard drive in case you have funky scopes to deal with or a faulty turntable and need to remember how to do the input reverse trick.

yeah i think thats a good idea- i actually had the scopes page saved on my computer but there is no horizontal flatline scope:(

Yeah I smell what youre steppin in sam but theres just something nice about the anonymity that comes with the internet. Im not trying to be famous so im gonna keep it on the low for now, and the truth of the matter is- I AM getting fed!!!

ps- mf doom still wears a mask on stage...
