I just picked up a new laptop yesterday and have been trying to push my system to see what it can handle. What is weird is that the USB Dropout light will come on right when i turn Serato on. Before i had turned on Serato I had shut off my firewall, virus protection, and disconnected from the wireless web. I configured my system for best performance, but when i run Serato and look at the processes it will show from 30-60% CPU usage. If you have any suggestions or answers please shoot them at me. Heres my specs for my laptop.

Dell Inspiron 700M
80gig Hard Drive
1gig Ram
Intel® Pentium® M Processor 765(2.10GHz/400MHz FSB)
