Videos with the sound distorsioned

I want to convert my DVD collection using ImTOO DVD Ripper 4 but when they are converted (Quik Time Mov,Vob,Etc...) in some videos I got the audio distorsioned I try to convert them on diferent ways and none worked, if someone knows how to do it right please tell me how.

I have the same problem too.

The distorsion is clipping. Some kind of weird way ImToo is boosting up the audiogain. When you play the track in SSL you see the volumemeter all the way in red.
So we need to get the gain back to normal.

Still trying to find the right settings. But this seems to help.

Go in the ImToo application to 'prefences' and to the 'audio' part.

The default setting is '3' and 'dolby surround' is ticked.

Untick 'dolby surround' and change the '3' into '1'.
(Setting a '0' gives you no sound at all)
