A few DJ's have recommended the use CDJ's with SSL -- since they think its the ideal setup... not too heavy, small, no crates.. etc. BUT - I've been wondering which CDJ's to buy. Everyone loves their Pioneers or Denons.. but I've been doing some research... Many of these CDJ's come with bells and whistles that don't work OR aren't necessary when using SSL. Example: Markers/cue points, loops (I thought I read that some have issues)... After reading around the forum.. I got the impression that all u need is something that can spin the code. Am I wrong? If so, school me.
BUT if I'm right, what are some CDJ's that you would recommend and why? They can be older models... Stripped down models. This is for use with SSL only... and would not be used otherwise. It would be helpful b/c spending close to 1K on ONE CDJ just hurts right now.
