So im the main resident dj at the viper room in hollywood every saturday and ive used serato there for the past month, well I hooked everything up last night and the damn left turntable wouldnt work, the wave was moving slooooow. So I did all basic things to check what it is and found out it was the rca cables on the turntable. Anyways, the sound guy there doesnt know shit and the club doesnt have any extra turntables so I ended up having to use the 1 turntable trick and I mixed the whole night on 1 turntable and nobody even noticed! LOL it took some time to get used to, but by the end of the night I had it down. Of course I couldnt scratch or do any kind of trick's really but it got the job done. Please note that if I had regular vinyl I would have been screwed! Thanks to technology and rane/serato, the show went on!

Great job! I still haven't tried using one turntable but I should JUST IN CASE...

We heard a similar story from John Tejada a while back..

that's kind of how it is here every year. but SSL saved the day! : )
