im a music teacher in a secondary school trying to find out info on djing for some of my pupils who are taking the BTEC in performing arts as part of their GCSE's. One of the topics to be covered is heakth and safety issues for club dj's, raido dj'd and radio producers. Can anyone help, or point me in the right direction to help them to pass?!!

Health and Safety? There are many occupational hazards: being surrounded by drugs and alcohol, second-hand smoke, very late nights, less than honest club owners and promoters, crazy drunk people... Some djs may be at risk for STDs...
