HEY GUYS, I GOT NEW CDS AND I NEED TO IMPORT AS MP3'S. THE CDS HAS COPY CONTROLLED. I TRIED DOWNLOADING EAC AND AUDIOGRABBER BUT SOMEHOW EAC WOULDNT ALLOW ME TO RIP AND AUDIOGRABBER JUST CANT ADD LAME TO IT. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR ANY OTHER SOFTWARE I CAN USE?

this may sound like a lot of extra work, but if you have to you can always record from an external cd player in to your computer via the line input.
i dont think there's any software out there right now that reads write protected cds, but i may be wrong.
i know there is a commerical program from reading encrypter dvds called anydvd by slysoft (www.slysoft.com), check in to that, it may read cds too, i dont know.
best of luck to ya, and let us know what you figure out.
oh, and all caps usually means you're upset or something, and it annoys a lot of people for some odd reason.
personally, i prefer no caps, lol....

well, from looking on slysoft's website, anydvd works with cds too, did not know that.
always an option, and it's cheap, like 30 bucks.
what this program does is run in the background and decrypts the cd or dvd, so you can use any cd ripper (i would assume) to rip the cd.
i dont understand all this write protection b.s. nowadays, if someone wants to copy something bad enough, they will find a way around the write protection EVERY time...
