Hi,

I'm Dex from Romania. I own a Vestax VCI-300 mk1 & macbook pro 13" / i5 2.4Ghz / 4GB ram / 500GB hdd 5400rpm / intel hd graphics 3000 384MB using Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3.

The thing I want to know is if these specs are suitable for using Serato Video at it's full capabilities and if there are issues worth knowing about. I've tried making myself an idea on this topic but I've failed so I'm asking for your help.

P.S.: Anyone using similar gear, lemme know about your experience! :)

those spec's are good but lion is another issue.

I came across this topic earlier today. The idea of downgrading my OS on this new comp is not that appealing to me right now. Curious if anyone uses gear and specs mentioned above and has some hints.

Is there any other software for vdj-ing that will work with vestax vci-300? It's kind of a long shot, I know, but hey, worth asking.

I use lion with my vci 300 for video and everything has been fine. NO Worries

Hehe, YES worries. The problem with the preview window in SV occurred with the demo version I've installed recently - it doesn't appear on top of Itch when playing, whatever I do. I know how to solve this now thanks to the thread Que gave me but hopefully there is/will be an easier solution - install / play / works perfectly with Lion! :P

the latest serato video beta 1.0.1 is supposed to fix the preview window issue. try it out and see the issue is resolved for you.

nyce, big up. the latest demo update seems to work just fine.
