My 12inch lets you choose which videos you want. I get the promo only monthly urban and i still only use like a max of 5 or 6 at the most from each DVD. Lots-o-filler and floor-wreckers on there.

Agreed... I subscribe to PO Hot Video... good months MIGHT get you 6 to 8 tracks (out of about 40 videos).
I am curious about the Mix Essentials DVD... what is that?

my12inch selection is alright, it's a little on the slow side, but so is promo only. if you're a radio dj, the service is free ;)

I remember Promo Only charged and arm and a leg for their music....

I think they charge something like $145 for 12 cds (13 cds if you buy them at a show).

That's about $12 per CD with about 18 songs wich comes to about $.66 per song.

That's pretty cheap to me.

I used to spend much more than that on music before Promo Only came about.

Promo Only is a bargin.

True but I personally don't want or need cd's which is why im a member of a few digital pools. Im paying less than that and im in two pools. Im sure most of the cost of promoonly goes to the cd production and labels etc. But in this day and age that stuff is not really needed. Im sure there are some people that like having the hard copies, but for me, as long as I have a few back-up drives im cool.

OK, I understand.
I have thousands of cds that I don't use anymore.

I talked to Promo Only, and for most of their commercial music videos at a discounted price is still about $10,000!

10G... that is for like every video every, to date....and the BJ....right? I have 5 years worth of Hot Video ($400/year, cuz im a stupid ass and only get 3 months at a time) and about 1/2 of the 'Best of Series' (about 30 DVD's x $40/each)...which I guess is probably getting somewhere over 3G if I add it all up....so yea, its a little expensive to build a video library.

Promo only was a good investment for me! You could start by buying urban or hot video back 1 year and continue the suscription. i get weekly video its 99 bucks a month and you get 1 monthly video with it. i get urban video. If you join the ADJA you get discounts. it may sound like alot but you r gonna make it back
