Will SL Video Auto Play like Virtual DJ?

The club I work at currently uses Virtual DJ / Numark Cue to auto play through playlists of videos from 8:00 - 10:00 every friday and saturday before i take over with SSL
It's nice that Virtual DJ automatically mixes the videos from Deck A to Deck B and so on without stopping the music, beatmatching for you.
I know SSL has the internal mode coupled with the auto button to achieve this, but there is no auto beat matching and there is a slight delay between songs.
I want to sell virtual dj (if anyone will buy it) and strickly use SSL video
Can anyone enlighten me with their ideas?

I hope that Serato NEVER add a function for automach tempo or worse automix alá VirtualDJ, Traktor or Torq.
Serato is for Pro DJ's not lacy can't mix bedroom DJ's. Matthew, I'm not saying your a lacy bedroom dj...

I agree with you guys.. it's wierd to even bring it up... I'm only trying to hook the club owner up... don't want him to have to buy SSL video after just purchasing Numark Cue a year ago.... i hate Virtual DJ and would love to just use SSL.

I am all for auto beatmatching. That way I can get paid and laid at the same time!!! other than that i dont care either way.

you'll be able to let VSL run through a playlist using internal mode & AUTO selected but it won't mix/beat sync them together.

Is there a limit to how big the video files can be. Because if I were you I would just recored a 2hr mix set of warm up videos in my bedroom and play that in internal mode until I was ready to take over with VSL.

I'm sure there's no limit on length.....

You need a video capture device. You can find a bunch of them here (www.tigerdirect.com) you can capture video & audio through usb 2.0, firewire, PCI, or PCI Express depending on the type of computer you have. I wouldn't buy anything uner $50 though without doing some research first.

I have SSL and Virtual Vinyl. Virtual Vinyl is exactly like serato but just alot cheaper. I use the Virtual Vinyl in the clubs only when I am doing Music Videos and it is off the hook!!!
I don't use the auto beat matching, i find that to be cheating, thats like playing an IPOD.
But overall, I think Virtual Vinyl is worth spending money on.

DJ Tony little, how do you find the midi working with the crossfader and how stable is it? Thinking about virtual vinyl until the possibility of SSl video implimenting midi. What sort of length of sets are you doing with it?
I figure for now that it's better to get started on another programme experimenting with video while i wait for SSL

IT WORKS FINE........I haven't had any problems yet. The average sets I do are 6 hours long and the longest set I did was 9 hours.
I also use the Numark DMC2 Controller with it.
