iPod with Videos import question

So I have my Video iPod connected to my Macbook Pro and the 57SL setup. How do I import the MP4 videos on my iPod into the crate?
Sorry if this is such a basic question, but I tried to look in the manuals and can't find it. I also did a search for iPod video import and could not find an answer.
