I already have serato, and am intrested in upgrading my mixer to a ttm57sl is there a way to get it cheaper without serato?

Yes. Sell your SL1. There you have your rebate ;) Other than that... no. Probably ask your dealer if he wants to give you a rebate.

save it for back up in case of emergencies...the 57 is a bit fragile.
also, when you're spinning with another serato dj you can daisy chain your sl1 thru your 57 so you can switch between laptops without changing vinyl.

to daisy chain your signal is to run it "in and out of", or "thru', or "piggyback"
like if you're connecting several powered speakers in sequence, you would run your main signal into the input on the speaker, then out of the output, and into the input on the next speaker, and so on.
once again, here's how...scratchlive.net
