I'm not a moderator...However, I do recall reading that you should consider adding additional RAM with larger libraries. I, too, have large library...they load on both the PC and my (performance) MAC... The PC is slower in load times. and it has the 3x more Ram!

Is your laptop 32-bit or 64-bit? I presume you have stopped all virus protectection and similar type software.

With that...have you COMPLETELY uninstalled ITCH (try Iobit's uninstaller with advance removal - free) then re-install ITCH.

You will find that more resources are needed (compared with Mac) when using windows. Your specifics, should remedy that, however.

Note: I still use ITCH 1.7.1...as I am running a Mac Mini with only 1gb ram...If I use a newer update, system tends to glitch (memory issue -- soon to be fixed).

Just for kicks, try reverting to it (most stable version before change-up to 2.0+), if you are still having issues... (I am using NS7).
