I want to assign b1 and b6 to shift+i and shift+k functionality but I can't find it in the menu. I searched the forum for shift+i and didn't find anyone who discussed this before. Anybody know if this is possible? Thanx-

Before you jump on me... I need this only for songs that don't have a cue point or I would just use cue 1. Thanx again!

speed up and slow down. Thought it be nice to have the option to do slight speed adjustments with the buttons insted of touching the platter when talking to people in the booth. Not a must have but would be nioe. Thanx

i think he means as in using the pitch control on the deck itself...speeding or slowing down the track speed...doesn't pitch bend just adjust the sound pitch of the track?

waffelz, I dont know what you mean.
Speeding or slowing down the permanent pitch is possible but only makes sense in internal mode.

so you can do this in the program without touching the pitch slider on the deck itself? as thats what he asked....pitch bend in most programs i've used(but thats producing) means the tonality of the track and not the speed of the bpm
so if thats is the case then his answer is yes...

As previously said, only in internal mode.
Yes, but we are not talking about producing :)

I only see fast forward and rewind as assignable functions on the 57. I don't see pitch bend + / -. I know this is assignable through midi on a padkntrol or trigger finger but I don't want to waste buttons for a function I would rarely use. Not a big deal.
