Harmonic mixing in Key

I'm sure somebody has asked this recently, but I didn't find anything quite like what I'm going to ask. Serato already has a column for the key. I did see people asking why scratchlive doesn't automatically find the key, like it does with the tempo when building the overviews. I agree this is necessary if scratch live wants to stay relevant and to compete with everyone else jumping into the DJ software game. So, take it to the next level if you want to stay #1! But even better than that, Serato needs to make the key on the player adjust with the pitch slider as it does with the BPM. like a 120BPM songs sped up to 128BPM, shows that the song is playing at 128BPM. So say you're playing with CDJs and you have the "Master Tempo" button turned off. so you can change the pitch. If serato could show the changed key as it does with the tempo/BPM, it would KILL all the other software out there. WE NEED THIS SERATO!!!! i want to be able to mix live in key...on the fly!!! i've been wanting this for so long and can't understand why nobody has done it. it can't be that hard to do.

It's an interesting idea but it's pretty simple to remember that a 6% change in pitch either direction will give a half-step change in key. Pitch a song that's in C major +6% and it will be in C#/Db major.

A minor amount of mental math with the above knowledge in mind makes it pretty easy to figure out what to do. For example mixing from one song at -3 into another one at +3. Assuming of course that BOTH songs are actually in a pitch-perfect key when played at "0".
