A way to separate libraries for different gigs?

Hi all
Does anybody have suggestions on how to keep separate libraries in SSL for different kinds of gigs? I play records at three very different clubs and find that the other mp3s tend to clutter up and get in the way when I'm djing a certain club. So far I've been just renaming the folders and removed the "missing files" and then re-adding them the next time but is there a simple solution I may be overlooking?
Is there maybe a way to choose a library like when alt/option opening itunes?
Thanks
//Daniel

Thanks, I already do that but that's not what I'm after. I don't want any club#2 tracks to show up in the library when djing club#1. They're already divided by subcrates but when searching they all show up

keep them seperate just have crate club#1 all by it self . do the same for crate #2 and so forth.

Yes, but again, when searching the results still contain the other mp3s. I search by shortcuts so it always searches in the whole library and not just the current crate

You are right, if you use the mouse or pointer to click first crate and then search field. However as I use the cmd+F shortcut to activate and go to the search field it defaults to searching the entire library (or have a missed a shortcut doesn't do this?) and I'm back to where I began. So crates aren't the answer.

in the comments section put club 1 in all the songs you will play and club 1. put club 2 in all the songs you wanna play at club 2. then when you search, you search for club 1, and all the songs will pop up for that club 1.

That is kinda the way I'm doing it now when not removing the folders. And it gets old pretty quickly to having to retype that everytime ;)

+1 Drives are cheap and you can never have too many copies of your music. Seems a no-brainer as you are not playng music from the same crates at each club anyways.

I always hoped for a solution to this problem as well... My problem was when playing with buddy on the same laptop, each of our hard drives plugged in (nm). I would search for a track, and load up his version (without cues or loops where I expected them to be). Think I made a feature suggestion to limit searches to one specific master crate or just look through one of the libraries somehow.

^If you're going to be serious by submitting a feature request, it might be worth thinking along the lines of being able to use smart crates linked to a particular iTunes library.
I know you can have more than 1 iTunes library file on your mac, so maybe like a tabbed browsing between library/smart crates ting-a-ling?

Didn't Konix mention this in a Serato Tutor video? Something like renaming one of the database files?

It's a little old and outdated now, but you should get the idea and it's still the same. Basically you just need to keep separate _Serato_ folders, one for each "library," and just rename each one depending on which one you want to use.

Then just make Smart Crates and set the parameter to read any comments that contains club1 or club2 and make sure match all rules is checked.
When I play different styles of top40, I type on the comment, either Club Pop, Club Urban or just Club (where it works well with both crowds).

That's a matter of opinion. They've come down, but ever since the flood, people have been gouging like hell for them.
