The club i work at just installed 3 new projectors a Matro Thriplehead2go and a laptop with Grand VJ on it... I normally do a video show and used to play all of my videos on all of there TV and projectos. They liked it so much they wanted shit to play on the TV's when the other DJ's (who dont do video) play. And snowboarding videos dont cut anymore. Now with all these amazing artist and DJ (deadmau5 to tiesto to everyone and there dog) doing epic visuals along with there shows now). Anyway I played this saturday and couldn't do my video show cause they really wanted there new visuals running on the screen all night.
I still want my music videos on screen though. They dont want to unhook there system ever though since that Thriplehead2go is a pain in the ass to setup. So i need to run my video out from my computer into there... But we need a video input card. Anybody know of a good one?
I want them to buy a 27" imac and and a thunderbolt blackmagic card.. But thats not happening anytime soon. Does anybody know of a good USB Video input card. (no there laptop doesnt have firewire or an express card slot, or i would have added USB 3 to the computer already and got them to buy the USB3 black magic card) I dont really care about HD video since there system is only hooked up via VGA. I would like to run VGA into there computer though. cause RCA (yellow video) just sucks. I also dont think i need to worry about the delay cause ME has delay compensation which should fix that issue.
