Problem with locked whitelabel file

The Ruckus 2:15 AM - 8 April, 2012
I originally got an error message that 4 whitelabel files were locked. I was asked to enter my whitelabel email address and password which I did. Serato's message said my email address is incorrect. I checked it at whitelabel and it is correct. Anyway I sorted the files by clicking the far left column and deleted the said 4 tracks and downloaded them again from whitelabel. Upon opening serato again, I got the message that 1 whitelabel track is locked and to enter my email and password, which I did. Again Serato gave me the message that my email address is incorrect. I also cannot find the one whitelabel file that is locked, even after sorting the very left column to isolate the whitelabel files (both with and without my external HD attached) How can I find the supposed locked file, and how do I enter my email and password to unlock it if found?

Hi The Ruckus,

can you find this track with your laptop's search function at all?

This may have been locked by mistake, are you able to redownload the track? What was the track name/artist?

That's the thing Mathew, Serato does not name the locked track. After sorting my tracks by "Type" which lists all the whitelabel tracks together, there are no tracks with the lock icon. I found the first 4 tracks from the original first message that were locked and deleted them.

I have even played every one of my whitelabel tracks to make sure they're not locked...

if you do a search for whitelabel within your general computer search function do you get any results?
The Ruckus 11:54 PM - 11 April, 2012
No track come up when I search my computer for the name "whitelabel" or using the dos command *.*wl which searches for all files ending with .wl

can you make a smart crate and the rule 'is whitelabel', do they come up then?
The Ruckus 4:31 AM - 12 April, 2012
OK, I created the smart crate with the rule "comment=downloaded from whitelabel.net" Scrolled through the list and found one corrupt/unplayable track. I deleted it, and closed Serato. Re-opened Serato and bingo, no error message. Job done. Thanks Mathew.

Still wondering why Serato would not let me log in to whitelabel from within the software

great to hear :-)

Some whitelabel tracks are locked by mistake, you just need to redownload them and delete the previous track.
