So this is my dilemma so far So i got the handbrake download at first it says i didnt have the right .net library, so i figured that out then i do the step by step in FAQ
1. Save the VIDEO-SL.hb file to a location on your hard drive *****I DID THIS*****
2. Launch Handbrake ***** I DID THIS*****
3. Click the "Show Presets" button ******I DID THIS*******
4. Click the "Open" button in the "Preset Functions" area in the presets window *****I DID THIS*****
5. Browse to the VIDEO-SL.hb file you have stored, select it and press "Open" in the Windows file browser dialog box. *******I TRIED TO DO THIS BUT IT WOULD NOT LET ME FIND THE TEXT FILE. I went to the folder where it is at in the format it sayed HD. but nothing was there so i went back to check to see if it was and yes its there. but i cant select it.
The preset profile settings for VIDEO-SL are now loaded although unfortunately Handbrake does not give a clear indication that anything has happened.
The Settings in the preset are for an MP4 file with H.264 codec and an average bitrate of 2000kbps we have found that these settings have produced a good balance between file size and CPU usage. Once you are comfortable with handbrake you may want to further tweak this to suit your needs.
When you launch Handbrake there should now be a new preset option titled VIDEO-SL which contains all the necessary settings to convert video files which are optimized for VIDEO-SL. *******There is no preset titles VIDEO_SL*****
What am I doing wrong, thanks for the help

I have converted everything from the dvd to a folder and it is seperated by chapters as a vob. when i go to load the folder in handbreak i get this error
No Titles found. Please select a valid non copy protected source. please refer to help section.
Are the vobs still copyrighted? Its promo only I have the disk. What am I doing wrong here. lol so confusing.
