Not sure if I should upgrade to latest version 0.9.6 of HandBrake? Anyone using it now?
Has anyone created a new Pre-set for endcoding DVD with the new version?

Release notes ( trac.handbrake.fr) suggest using constant Quality vs the avg bit rate. I am currently using 2500 kbps (see below excerpt from release notes)
"Note that Constant Quality is the recommended encoding method as it has many benefits as detailed here.
If you choose not to calculate it yourself or use a 3rd party tool, you can continue to use 0.9.5 if you require this functionality. Old versions are available from the download page."


IMPORTANT IF YOU UPGRADE:
VLC 2.x or later will not work for DVD decryption as it no longer contains the dynamic library HandBrake uses.
Installing Libdvdcss is an alternative method of regaining the same functionality.
