i just want to know what happened to music.i been around a long time in the making of revolutionizing hip hop,r and b,house music ,reggae etc.now adays almost everything sound the same.music has lost its identity,everything is fused into pop now.i know everybody want that crossover audience and sales.but if you are going to do pop,do pop thats cool .their are alot of truley talented artist out here and think they are doing something wrong.when their not.greed is killing the music.a lot of dj's lost their integrity.they want play whats hot.they play whats popular.dj's we set the standard of whats good music.not the big major record company's or machines that push and push wack music on radio stations and t.v. and make the kids think that their listening to good music when all they are really following trends and personalities verses,evolving in these art forms that we worked so hard to bring them in the for front to the world to share.they loved our music for the raw grittynest and the truth.not for the watered down sound.if you are a real dj dont mislead the people blind just for a check.play for them real music the truth,dont loose your backbone to fit in.play whats hot and maybe good music will take back its rightful place and replace the gimmicks. the peoples dj ron gotti.
