As midi mapping is not currently supported in Itch, you'll have to fade with the trackpad or the arrow keys.

Serato have said midi mapping is something they'd like to add in the future which I guess means it will show up in a new version somewhere down the line.

Yep.... Got to wait for a serato video update.... Not implying that it wont happen but serato's track record of updating there video software is beyond poor.

well, if the rane 62, 63 or 57 crossades video...
you could rip the serato control cd to mp3, run itch at the same time or on a separate comp and use the v7s with ssl.

I did that before and it does work. I ripped the control signal and loaded it in itch than connected my v7 to my sl2 box.

and ran itch and serato on the same machine? sounds great if you can MIDI map the controls on the V7 to SSL.

I always wanted a V7 for a 3rd deck, but i found out that you cant buy a vci300 and add a v7 for a 3rd deck.... BIG oversight on serato's part.

If you know anyone with a Twitch or VCI-300, try hooking everything up to the same computer and see what happens. It just might work. I've seen other guys on Youtube using V7s with Twitch or VCI300, and it seems like the V7 just takes over the platter and you have redundant buttons on the machines. This isn't an official feature but people have kinda discovered the workaround on accident. I haven't done it myself, and I haven't seen it done with video, but it might be worth trying. You can find used VCIs cheap on eBay.

I saw a guy with a twitch and a DDJS1. And it worked just fine.. He only have 2 decks but he played on the DDJS1 and use the twitches efx loop masher thingy

How about now with serato dj? Is there some type of midi crossfader?
