where to download quartz composer ?

where to download quartz composer ?

it's driving me mad now, ive signed up to apple developer and downloaded xcode but i cant find the extra download plugin (quartz comp) that adds onto the xcode program.
i can find loads of useless gibberish on the developer site but not the actual program....

does anyone know where how or have a link ?

There are 2 discs that come with every mac, the OS and the additional software.

It's part of the developer tools on the second one.

Or you can get it from the Mac App Store. Search for Xcode.

My bad, should have read the original post. Open Xcode then click on Xcode in the menu bar, then select get more tools (or something like that). Then download the Graphics package. Quartz Composer is included in this package.

amazing thanks guys, it's all so i can use the twitter screen app ive got my tweets coming up in the composer. how do i transfer that over to mixemergency ? do i need to export it as a certein file before i drag it into the ME composition window ?

no, just save the quartz composition after you've entered you twitter information, then open mix emergency and drag and drop the qtz file onto the quartz overlay window in ME. Click enable, and boom, twitter feed overlay.

cheers dude figured it out, trying to switch the twitter from the bottom of the page to the top now :s

I do not see the twitter feed or anything, seems to be down

I've read the above and tried doing it but I get to the press Xcode in the menu bar and I can see 'Open developer tool' I clicked it and I can see "More developer tools'. But when I click on this a can't download quartz composer.

Can any one help?

When you click "More Developer tools", it should open a web page, check your browser, download the graphics tools from that page.

Quartz Composer is not in the App Store. And it doesn't appear (for me) on developer.apple.com The search on that page is also broken, so perhaps the site is having major problems.

Select all the categories, until they work...... It's then in the graphics tools package
