Serato Video with Itch...

Today I used Itch with Serato Video for 6 hours straight with no problems. It worked perfectly I used an NS7 with a MacBook Pro and worked flawlessly. I just wanted to report it's good thus far.

I tested it last night on my MacBook Air haha. Totally ran fine on high quality, pretty cool considering my first MacBook pro barely did it. Obviously without the timecode there is less stress but it's still cool.

I used the vestax 300 mkii

I know this is a dumb question but are you running external hdds?

You use a MacBook Air? That's cool! What effects are you able to use or not use? My 13" MacBook Pro is from 2010 and I know that it doesn't have the graphics card sufficient to run Serato Video.

I love my new 17" MacBook Pro with everything on the highest settings and it runs amazing!

I had to test my new speakers too...awesome for the price!!! I love it!

Less stress from no timecode, but more stress from internal mixing and software-based gain, EQ, etc - right?

Either way, I have had solid bedroom sessions too with Itch, Serato Video, and my VCI-300 MKii. Haven't used it out at a show yet, but it's keeping me from having to take my decks out of their cases and set them up when I want to practice a couple new video blends or whatever, so that in and of itself is priceless lol.

Any issues? Really want to get a Mac but not sure what I can get away with in terms of pricing. Where is the CPU bar?

I had all the settings on the highest settings. and the CPU bar was less than 1/4 seriously not taxing my CPU at all.
