Apple will not allow their videos to be played outside the iTunes program. I doubt that they will work with Serato.

do a search in tunes for music videos, you'll see the plus (+) sign next to the vids. Luckily they are the same price as regular videos. Nice of Apple not to rape you on the price for the loss of DRM.

are these going to be suitable quality for a large screen? this would be great news if yes...

Just want to bump this thread for an answer, i've just been to mixmash and put together my own compilation of 15 tracks, but they are 45 pounds for one DVD!! I've just ordered one but they give a very limited selection.
I know the itunes vids wont be anywhere as good as ripped DVD, but will they still pass ok on a projector screen??
If you can compare it to playing a 320kbps MP3, i may get the jist a bit easier. (i.e. playing an itunes vid would be like playing a 64kbps mp3 off limewire, or summat similar lol)

The other thing you can do that works great is use an application called Snapz Pro X (MAC OS X only I believe) which allows you to capture the itunes video and resave it to your computer. The quality of the dubbed video is identical if you know what you are doing. This is not a free program though but well worth it for those hard to find videos.

i downloaded some plus videos from itunes and they work flawlessy. the picture is clear and full screen with good audio. all we now is to get itunes to release more plus videos for us to use. no converting just straight download and bang!
