Vista is officially not supported anymore. It may run or not - don't waste your time ;)

I had major issues with Vista and the original VSL back in the day (before I got a Mac). I wouldn't even mess with it TBH. Get a used MacBook Pro or at the very least, a PC that is up to spec and running Windows 7. Even then, get ready for some major potential system tweaking. If your time and frustration is worth anything to you, getting a Mac will pay for itself many times over lol.
