Footswitch problems

I baught the Digitech FS-300 footswitch after reading that it is recomnended from Rane for the TTM57.

Must say, it wasn't as useful as I thought, but with 1.8 coming out and the ability to switch the effects on and off, its a must!

Anyway, it is a 3 trigger footswitch and this is what happins:

1. When I trigger switch A - nothing happins
2. When I trigger switch B - it tirggers both A & B
3. When I trigger switch C - it tirggers both B & C

I've selected a 3 switch in my serto settings. I've only had the footswitch for a couple of months and it has seen no damage.

Does it sound like a serato/rane problem or a digitech problem?

Is there anyway of working out where the fault is before I send the footswitch back.

(I baught it off the internet.. so no real store to take it back into and replace)

sounds like a wiring problem, maybe the cable is damaged.
Do you have a multimeter or some kind of continuity tester you could use to test the switch?
When you push button A tip and sleeve should be connected
When you push button B ring and sleeve should be connected
When you push button C tip and ring should be connected.
