how well does it work xtrodinaire i liked the one tap joystick on the 57 alot...and you didnt have to have the track selected in your load box.....

It work well but you have remember to have it on the same song when your doing it. I liked the joystick better tho. But its still easy with the knob

im confused.....so to do instant doubles with the 62 i have to have to have the same song highlighted in my crate box that im playing as if im about que it up to the next deck then double tap load?

or can i just double tap and it will instant double whatever is in opposite deck no matter what i have song i have highlighted to load up?

You don't have to double tap if you just check the instant double box when you have it on the same song. I find it easier just to assign the instant double to effects buttons I don't use.

i dont wanna have it on the same song tho...

.i wanna be maybe searching for a song or have a song qued up that i searched for and get the urge to instant double the track im playing to juggle or whatever without having to select it or having to search for it again...much like the 57 did with the joystick,,,

Assign it to a button that you don't use. Yes the joystick was awesome, so many functions.

what do you recommend....

i want it to be a simple one button push for left and right decks much like pushing the joystick < and> when in group 1 i believe

without having to have the song highlighted like i said...

i dont use sampler at all really much less 10 or so buttons for the samples....so maybe 2 of those buttons i can assign?? one for left and one for right..

If you already have a different song loaded, just double tap and it will load the song you want doubled.
The song does not have to be highlighted.

Music A: Left Deck double to Right Deck: Double tap Right Load Button.
Let say you are mid way of the Music A and you decided to juggle/double but you already loaded a different music on the Right Deck, just double tap Right Load Button and it will STILL load song A to the Right Deck.

Just an fyi. on the First press of the load button, it will load the highlighted Music, but once you you do the 2nd tap it will load Music A. It freaked me out a little at first. Just a heads up to you :)

you can with the double tap. Just double tap the deck you want to load the double.

If thers a track playing on the left deck, double tap the right load knob to instant double.

It doesnt matter what track you have highlighted on your crate.

oh awesome.....that sounds do-able.......i just was under the understanding you had to have the track re-highlighted in the crate when u double tap....which would be wackk and kinda counter intuitive
