Got my 62 yesterday playing with it today. I played with it already for 4 days straight at Namm. but I have to say Rane & Serato Did the Dam Thing. Now just need video to comeout.

Ok, but what kind of warranty does those other guys give? I usually buy a 3 year accidental damage warranty for some asshole maybe spilling a drink on my gear.

sam ash and gc are slow as hell. but the other like agi has 2 & 4 year accidental plans.

They're sweet cables. I've seen them in a few touring dj set-ups lately.

I think if you don't mind the color scheme, the 62z is the better bargain if you were going to get the cables anyway.

I thought you meant if you dont mind it. Some people may not like the design or another DJ's name on their mixer, but may still want the cables.

Regardless its a better deal, even if you pay 60 - 70 bucks for 12inchskinz, you end up ahead.

You can have 12inch skins make you the graphics but the knobs (no homo) are the problem. The cables are easy.

1. The Z-Trip mixer is an additional $100 
2. There are alot of people like myself who will buy the Z-Trip mixer simply because its a limited edition an will likely have higher resale value in the future.
3. The same was said about the 57 limited edition which some people still currently own. Anyone who has a 57 limited edition now may  have buyers willing to pay more forthan a regular 57. Which some people already do.
4. You don't want to have another djs name then don't buy the ZTrip mixer simple. 
5. Get a or make skin simple
6. Don't want to pay this or that then don't simple.
7. If someone doesn't like something about the mixer then just don't buy it. Same as food. You don't like it don't eat it.  Unless you still live with  your parents and they force you to eat your veggies. Which sounds like a lot of fools here do.

9. Rane is not putting anyone in a submission hold to buy their mixers.
10. You want to be a designer. Then go use your Krylon, glitter, neon lights. And maybe some popups. Whatever you want until your hearts content.

Maybe that's a good thing. Hopefully they fix the mapping issue or any other issues before they release the 62z.

Makes no sense why the 62 can't be mapped out as you feel fit. I own a 68. 68 owners have 4 other layers to map out if we want to. THE 62 SHOULD AND MUST HAVE THIS OPTION. COME ON MAN!!!

How bout mixtape status for the 62? I see in the release notes for the 2.4.1 beta , sl1-4,57, 68 the mixtape feature will work...... Can we expect the 62 to work later on?

Not Rane's fault. This is a Serato issue. Rane makes the hardware and Serato makes the software.
