Based on my own experiences with stuff in the $100-150 price range...I would bump up the price range a bit for something that actually works well (and keeps working).

All of the cheaper HDMI splitters I've tried have acted flaky and/or died after a few days/weeks/months of use. I suspect part of the problem was inadequate protection against differing ground potentials from different displays being plugged into different power circuits.
I've had the Gefen one-in/five-out model installed in a couple places for several years and they generally have been fine. Occasional need to use the front-panel "reset" button on it when sources are switched.
