happens all the times for shows but at one point one of em was air scratching on the decks

The only "live" elements during shows like that are the lead mics, and they have backing tracks in case the artist goes cowboy in the middle of the set.
It's hilarious to watch bands "play" halftime sets and not even be with the music since they're not plugged in.
It would be a logistic nightmare to get a proper sound check for them AND get the crazy stages, screens, lights, and pyro set up and struck in 25 minutes.

When I first saw the Pioneer logo I was like---good for Pioneer for getting there logo out there!!!! .....and then LMFAO did that lame ass scratch.

Sure enough. But for the last 10+ years, shows like that have been pre-recorded. :-\
