Now that we are getting Videos I guess it's the right time that Serato try to work out with the record labels to have their Video as well on Whitelabel.net

Number of VideoSL users = X

Number of potential Itch video users = Y

If X is not a large enough number of users for the labels to bother, I very much doubt that X + Y = enough extra users for them to bother.

Before we even consider video, how about we talk about actually getting some music... Releases are few and far between... It doesn't bother me to much as I do have my own pools to go to, but if Serato is serious about Whitelabel, they're going to need more releases. Not only that, but I'll point out that Whitelabel.net Radio hasn't seen an update in what will be a year in 3 months time.

It just make sense for record labels to promote their music along side with videos now that itch is getting videos there wil be more potential users that will be interested in video making it more profitable for Serato in the long run.

F that. Been making it a habit besides regular music purchases to rip videos from youtube. Got sony vegas for edits so I'm digging the parallels to sampling found sounds

X and Y are variables that will change over time. If your talking about statistics the future users will grow in an exponential rate.

Perhaps in the future, if the number of Scratch Live and Itch video users continues to grow exponentially. Although with new platforms released every year, I think that's quite a brave assumption.

But right now, those 2 numbers don't add up to enough for the labels to bother.
