VCI-300mkII with new DJTT chroma caps

Hey guys just posted over in DJTT some pictures of my VCI-300mkii with the new chroma caps they are selling. I was hesitant at first but the hype on these new knobs/faders is all true. They really do feel a thousand times better! I took some close ups too for comparison between the chroma caps and the stock caps. Check out the pics:

hows the knob fitting for the eqs? i noticed they said that on the vci the knobs bottom out.
think the fatty knobs will fit on the eq and not be too cramped?

Hey Diez yeah man both the regular "super" and "fatty" knobs fit just fine. I bought some fatty ones too for the low EQ since the easter egg allows us to use it as a filter as well. I just decided on all super knobs just for aesthetics and the colors I had. I did have the fatty knobs on them and they felt just fine.

In terms of the bottom'ing out, all you gotta do is fold up a piece of paper real small (I used post its) and drop it into the the knob (I used a tweezer to help me push it all the way down) and then you're good to go! They sit just fine :-)

They really make a difference of night and day. You just don't realize the difference until you actually feel them. Here are some more pictures comparing the stock knobs/faders side by side with the DJTT ones:

sweet - the vci knobs suck. cant see them in the dark, and ive gotten a bit spoiled on the fat smooth knobs on my ecler nuo :D
dont suppose with the new knobs the movement isnt as tight is it?

Nah man the movement is just as tight as with the stock faders, but grabbing the knobs and moving them just feels a lot better. I was spoiled too as I'm coming from the xone DX which I felt had amazing knobs. These are just as good if not better :-) Gluck man!
