I'm still a rookie dj and still learning. Been djing professionally for just over a year now, so i'm still learning lol

Yep, I started out with playing electro music which had intros/outros and were very close in bpms. However, I am making the switch to rap and top 40once music (so I can do weddings) and I find it very hard to make transitions sound good.
To add yo what you said, I would like to see a video on transitions for two songs with similar bpms but with no intro or outro. Alot of the rap songs I have don't have that so it sounds horrible when trying to mix 2 tracks when both of them have lyrics during the chorus.

There are a couple of way to do this transition,
1. Use your mic and be a hype man "drop the volume of the 74bpm and ask the crowd something related to the track and then u drop it"
2. There are transitional mixes online that can drop a song from 100 to 120 bmp or 74 to 100bmp. Is jus to do the search and find those tracks.
3. Jus cut and mix . cut off one song and bring in the other from a hot part of the next.

hope that was helpful. dont always need video to show because there are helpful advice online jus need to search and read.

I've searched for these particular tutorial's but haven't found them, if you know some links PLEASE post them lol. But i usually use your 3rd option. of just cutting the song and mixing the slower/faster song in at a "hyped" part. But i'd like to be able to get my skills better to where i can not use the "cut" method and mix the song down to the slower speed.

I've been practicing with trying to, slowly drop the tempo fader on the deck going out, and....i guess "cue hitting" would be a appropriate term.....as i said i'm not a 20 year dj or technical know it all, but using like a cue point at the bass/snare hit of a song and drop it in as i get the other deck to the desired speed.
