Uses anyone the key and mouse recording to make shortcuts for an extra midi controller?

I wonder, what would be the best way to make macros to a additional controller?

For example: I use the VCI-300 and I want that recording button on MPK25. Now the shortcut (Ctr+N) does not work for some reason, so I have use the mouse to click the rec, impractical to say I.

Problem solved and now recording works as hotkey, than MPK25 controller :)
