I may be mistaken, but isn't clubdjvideos one of these wack sites re-encoding other peoples videos and trying to pass them as their own? I may be wrong but they're wack in either case.

I started using them 2 months ago. It saved me a lot of time editing videos. Not sure if they are re-encoding other videos. Either way your right. I took a look at their site and they mention nothing about their video editors.

Why not sign up for www.smashvidz.com and do yourself a favor ;)

lots of crashes, hangs, and blatent stealing from that site...

I was not aware of their reputation and that they were blatantly stealing from other sites.....Had to got through my entire video hard drive after an event the other night and load each file individually into serato. It took me about 2 hours to find the corrupt files and delta them from my computer. Totally sucked but worth it to finally know the problem is solved......

Im now on smashvidz and going to continue with their service from now on. Just got re-approved today. I will use this service along with creating my own video edits....

wow...so before seeing this thread i tested their services.
1) blatantly using audio and probably video that is not theirs.
2) one step above 8th but one step below as well.
sure they have interesting audio but the video quality is HIGHLY questionable.
some videos, like the megamixes, look so bad and i am not an expert.
i did not trust any vids so i chose to fix them. mpeg streamclip would not create the movie but the version i use says "This version is not compatible with YouTube: if you want to download movies from YouTube, please use the beta version below." so i got the beta and they re-rendered fine...hmm.
3) they are probably making bank like 8th but need to improve quite a bit.
4) would definitely NOT recommend them (unless you plan on doing extra work).

Let me know how it works out after you re-render the files....

i just shouldn't have too. plus, you must use the beta. not sure what that says about their videos.

Yeah I just found out the hard way.... Only downloaded about 5 vids, and my serato crashed when I tried to import them.

Deleted them, and I'm not messing with them anymore.

Stay Away from these people

More and more people have been having trouble. I've been messaged a few times. Keep to the good reputable websites so you don't have to deal with these problems.....

Not sure of some people are still dealing with this but I have been having some crashes due to these videos. I thought I had deleted them all from my library but guess I didn't.

Did anyone have these files not come up as corrupt in their Serato? Mine didn't but it seemed to still be crashing the computer....

How do yo know if the video is corrupt if its not showing up corrupt in serato??

If an mp4 file can't be tagged properly in Scratch Live or programs like Media Rage, that's the first sign that it has been encoded by someone who doesn't know what they're doing.

For detailed info you can throw the files into MovieInfoBatch and see what the specs of the files are. A lack of keyframes is a leading cause of problems.
