Can anyone confirm the new MacBook pro's comparability with scratch live video sl?
Might be going later this week to get the new 15" pro but can't find a recent updated topic on comparability/glitches with OS Lion. Thanks in advance

I think I found my answer it is not supported but don't know how old the post was. Anyway worst case does anyone know if I buy the new Mac which comes standard with lion, can it be reverted back to snow leopard

Technically there is a bug if you need text overlay with Video SL in Lion.. other than that I am running 2.3.3 + VSL 1.2 rock solid every night. I -did- backup all my mp4s and reanalyze a play set though.

Wow awesome. I don't do text overlay. Just blend n scratch. Awesome good news. New MacBook pro here we go. Thanks bud

if you have snow leopard already on a old mac you could use carbon copy clone and clone the whole drive and make it bootable. then use that to install snow leopard in your new mac book pro. thats what I did

So you can make a snow leopard install disk off your current mac?

the "update" discs work as fresh install discs as well, just chose format destination drive

well, choose boot from disc>disk utility>wipe your drive>restart>boot from disk>install

Oh nice. Can anyone confirm with the newest (late 2011) mac pros that come with lion , can be reformatted to snow leopard and maintain the full function of ilife, safari, mail, calendar ect.....? I noticed the new macs that have the 3000 & AMG DDR5 are all Lion. Im curious if the new video card will work with Snow leopard
