Purchasing Just the TTM57

I bought a numark mixer and serato seperately(the ttm57 would have been too much money) but now i have my money saved and found out I can't just buy the 57. I know i can purchase the 56, but the hardware won't register with serato. Is there anyway I can purchase a TTM57 without serato(so it is much cheaper) if not, what are some good mixers to check out, around the price range of $1000?

no, you can't buy them seperately...the fact that serato is built in is the entire point of the 57. and i don't know who's prices you were looking at, but you can get the 57 at guitar center for under $1100 all day. numark mixer? Booooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

the Scratch Live software is free so what you are paying for is purely hardware and the convenience of the mixer. i bought mine a few weeks ago - worth every dollar and then some

not to mention the fantastickness of being able to daisy chain them both so that if you're spinning with another dj you don't have to worry about switching to regular vinyl in order to switch computers. all you gotta do is flip your inputs! (the only drawback is that the computer that's hooked up to the SL1 box doesn't have the ability to use all of the features of the 57......but that just means that you gotta make sure that your computer is connected to the 57 and the other guy is connected to the SL1 lol )
