I'm really sick and tired of Serato and Video Sl crashing on me. This weekend while playing in the middle of my video set this stupid program crashes on me. I was so embarrassed all I can hear is people sighing and talking s*#t about the music cutting off. Enough is enough Serato please get your act together there is no reason for your program to be so unstable. it's been years now since this program has been in the market for it to be regressing the way it has. I know that every computer has it's special issues in where there is particular problem that causes it to crash. But I have made a clean install on my MacBook Pro with just Serato running so that it doesn't conflict with another program. If my computer meets your requirements theres no reason why this programs should be having any problems. Please stabilize your program I like using this program but I guarantee if something better comes around that has the same features as Serato (without crashing issue) everybody will jump ship.

What response did you get when you posted your problem in the VSL help area, providing full system specs, crash logs and sample files?
Because I assume you did that before coming onto the VSL general discussion area and having a moan.
Obviously.

Let's get to the main question...where are you getting your videos from? Badly encoded videos can easily crash your system. Let's narrow things down before you start pointing fingers.

there could be any number of reasons or combined things that can cause crashes.
we understand it can be frustrating.
what version of ssl?
what version of vsl?
what mac, processor, ram, video card?
how hot is it getting?
where'd the videos come from?
how are they encoded? what format?
hardrive? connection type? if usb, which port is it plugged into?
is the mac optimized?
i have no doubt we can work it out.

Exactly, if I can get it running smoothly on a Vista machine I'm sure it can be worked out...
