soemthing i just found out. very odd!!

so my filter knob is going bad on channel 2, its getting loose and and u cant turn it without possibly makign it worse(i use it alllll the time!). so rather than send it in (lack of no back up) i switched over to channels 3 and 4 and made those the primary decks...
well.. this is the weird thing.
lately the needles wouldnt get a good signal(shure white labels) since i switched over to channels 3 n 4. its a way better signal! all gray bar. the quality of sound is way better.
any ideas>?

You should be easily able to see if there is a difference by simply plugging your turntable into, say, channel 2 and looking at your tracking percentage.
Then plug into channels 3 or 4 and see if the tracking percentage is better.
Obviously making sure the dipswitches on the back are set correctly.
