Booth Out connection (monitor)

For those of you running 1 monitor (booth speaker), how are you connecting the speaker to the mixer? The only option is to use the 1/4 outputs, but ones a left channel and the other is a right channel. Are you running a 2 into 1 Y, then an extension out to the speaker/amp? Thanks for your help!

yeah i just bought a 2 xlr (male) out to a 1/4 (female). works like a charm and it's only $3.

Are you talking about your main outputs? The output for the "booth" are left/right 1/4" outputs.

yeahhhhhhh my bad......i really have no clue why i wrote that. two 1/4" male to one 1/4 female. thats what i meant.

I just use either the L or R 1/4 out into my monitor speaker...there's no need to Y it.
