i don't think you can.. I know you can attach a video clip to a song, So that when you load that song the clip would pop up. but I don't think you can run a clip and change songs... Even with Mix Emergency you have a video bank where you can load random clips, but they change with every song...But if there's a way to do this I'm sure some one else will chime in on this

The purpose of VideoSL and MixEmergency is to control the video and audio simultaneously. If you just want to run visuals without syncing to the music you really need a program like Arkaos.

As DJBoozie says, MixEmergency will load random clips from it's media bank if you play an audio-only track.

And Mix Emergency has detatchable video controls.

Curious as to where this Thunderbolt equipped venue is though. Do you live in the future?

Kinda of wish they had a "Clipbank" plugin like VDJ, then you could load up your movie and play that on top of anything. We use this sometimes and play skate videos during our sets. Serato are you even listening??

no, you CAN do it with ME, done it quite a few times
you just turn off the scratchlive control.
in the "Mix Emergency" window switch the top control to Mix Emergency.

yea, you could put a full movie on, load tracks, mix, crossfade back and forth, up and down and the full movie clip or whatever will play from start to end and then reloop.

mix emergency will work independently of ssl.
it would be nice if vsl did too. people need and want to play full clips without restarts.

it's not the venue.... its a second moniter for myself, venue's hooked up with a vga cord
