Im going crazy trying to figure out how to use the loop roll and when I release the loop roll the song plays where it would have if it wasn't looped.

To try and explain better when I use loop roll and then release it it plays exactly where I release it but I have seen others use loop roll where when they release the loop it plays where the song would have been as if it wasnt looped, kinda what the censor function does, it censors a section then plays where it would been as if u never hit the button instead of just reversing the song and playing where you let it go at.

Can somebody please help me figure this out .....
