does this work like any other mixers master volume or does it relate to the master in the serato program?

need to know asap really as we have an event this saturday which is involving 4 turntables and 2 of these mixers, 1 we are hiring for the entire night, the other being provided by the booked headlining dj's (which will go when they finish the set) and i want to make sure im running our setup as loud as possible like normal (normally use allen and heath or pioneer mixers so this is all new to me despite being an sl1 user)
